It’s been nearly two years since I published Painting Rain, and I really don’t know how I let that much time pass without posting some bonus content from it. For shame!
I’ll try to make it up to you.
This scene is the first part of an entire chapter that was deleted from Painting Rain. I was several thousand words into this particular scene before I realized that I had no idea where I was going with this story line and that it really didn’t serve a purpose. So it ended up on the cutting room floor.
The blog tour for Painting Rain is happening right now. And along with that comes a GIVEAWAY! Enter using the rafflecopter below for a chance to win $50. Also, I’ve added a link to my Pinterest in case your interesting in seeing the pins I’ve found and used as inspiration for my books.
Well, it’s been almost two weeks since Painting Rain was released. In that time I’ve run a free promo on Just Ella and then promptly fell off the face of the internet to take care of this little snoozer.
Life is good here in mommy land.
All right, friends.
We’re coming down to it. Five days until the ebook of Painting Rain is released.

Painting Rain
Originally I had planned on releasing Painting Rain by mid-December. However, with the rewrites required, and other unforeseeable issues, I gave up on that deadline and allowed myself to focus on Christmas and family. I haven’t done much with it for the past several weeks, but now that out-of-town family is gone and the festivities are finished, I’ll be able to get back to work. I need to complete my final read-through before sending it off to copy editors. Once that’s done, I’ll finalize the cover and make it available for pre-order. I expect copies will land it reader hands in 4-6 weeks.
I’ve been having fun building these little memes. It’s interesting just how hard it is for me to pick out quotes.
